Solid sushi option walking distance from the Courtyard hotel. The patio was beautiful. Service was excellent - friendly and quick. The Gyoza was delicious. At my servers suggestion - I ordered the Balboa which was good. Quality fish, but could have used a sauce. The Kraken was fantastic.

Despite the busy superbowl Sunday, the staff were on top of their game, literally running to take orders and serve fresh food quickly. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of efficiency and attention to detail that the staff exhibited, especially during such a hectic event. Not only was the service impeccable, but the food was also some of the best Japanese cuisine I've had in a long time. Each dish was prepared with care. The staff truly went above and beyond to make my dining experience a memorable one, and I can't wait to visit again

We got takeout here for the first time the other day and it was the best sushi I’ve ever had! Fresh, tasty, great value and portions. I look forward to coming here (at least once a week) from now on.

Sushi isn’t anything overly special but it’s a great lunch spot with quick service and great friendly staff. I only order the spicy tuna hand roll and Hawaiian roll.

Everything was ready and fresh. The flavors were really good. The garlic edamame was flavorful. If you like sushi this is a great place to try. My picky son had the chicken teriyaki and he said the sauce was pretty good and he doesn't do sauce on his food.

We make the drive for north San Diego county to eat here because the 4S Ranch restaurant closed. We love their happy hour and usually order one of everything on the menu. Love the crunchy rolls and the shrimps & veg tempura. The orange checking plat is awesome! This is our favorite go to Sushi spot!

Used to order from this place all the time, but I am very disappointed in tonight’s order. The fish smelled and tasted fishy. The cucumber in the Ototo roll was soggy, and the ingredients overall just weren’t fresh. The spicy scallop hand roll fell apart when you picked it up. There was nothing spicy about it, and they put chunks of carrots which was just odd. Giving 2 stars because it used to be a favorite of ours, and maybe this was just a bad night? Not sure if we will be giving this place another go. Very turned off by tonight’s quality, and there is much better sushi out there for the price we paid for 5 rolls.
